The Shooting

Set within the deep valleys of the North Yorkshire coast, Highdales Shoot is renowned for producing remarkable, high-testing birds across its varied estate. The natural contours of the land, combined with the surrounding woodland and rugged countryside, create a series of memorable drives where birds are presented naturally and with plenty of height. It is a setting that offers both spectacular sport and a genuine sense of immersion in the Yorkshire landscape.

A mixture of mature high woodland, bracken-covered banks and steep, undulating ground provides the perfect combination for challenging driven game. The high woodland drives produce fast, high birds that will test even the most experienced shots, while the estate's varied nature ensures there are opportunities for everyone to enjoy. Highdales offers the ideal balance of exciting, testing sport and an enjoyable day in beautiful surroundings — a shoot where experienced shooters can really challenge themselves, whilst those with less experience can still enjoy some fantastic birds and develop their skills.

 Hospitality

The day begins with bacon rolls at the shoot lodge, followed by in-field elevenses. To conclude the day, a warm meal is served back at the shoot lodge.
